You talk to the technician who does the work, with honest pricing and a real commitment to getting out to you.
Serving Sunny Hills and Washington County
Sunny Hills is further from our Panama City base than most of our other service areas, but it’s territory we serve regularly across Washington County. When you call, you’re reaching a local team that services rural and acreage properties as readily as homes in town, not a national call center that treats the drive as too far to bother with. You talk to the technician who does the work, whether it’s a same-day repair or a full system replacement.
Panside is owned and operated by Lee Quick, who is hands-on for most calls. We’re a licensed HVAC contractor, and we’ve completed thousands of projects across the Panhandle, including rural HVAC service out toward Sunny Hills, Ebro, and Greenhead. We service manufactured homes, site-built homes, farmhouses, and everything in between.
We serve all of Sunny Hills and the surrounding Washington County communities honestly and reliably, and we’re open 7AM to 10PM with after-hours availability. Whether your AC quit on a hot summer afternoon, your heat won’t come on in a manufactured home with a packaged unit, or your heat pump needs service, you get honest answers, clear pricing, and a team that shows up. HVAC Sunny Hills FL Services We Handle
When your AC quits in the Sunny Hills summer heat, we find the real cause and fix it fast. AC repair is our most common local call, whether your home is a manufactured home with a packaged unit or a site-built house with central air.
Panhandle winters bring cold snaps, and a heater that won’t start is no fun out on a rural property. Heating repair gets your Sunny Hills home warm again, with a straight answer on what went wrong and what it takes to fix it, whether it’s a packaged unit or a central system.
Heat pumps are a great fit for our mild climate and common on rural Washington County properties, heating and cooling in one efficient system. We install, repair, and service heat pumps for Sunny Hills homes, keeping them running efficiently year-round.
For workshops, guest spaces, and outbuildings common on Sunny Hills properties, mini splits deliver targeted comfort without running new ductwork across a larger lot.
Manufactured homes often use packaged AC units and have distinct ductwork and clearance needs. We service manufactured home HVAC with that in mind, giving you the same honest, capable work we bring to any site-built home, without treating it as a lesser or unusual job.
A little upkeep now beats a breakdown in July, and it matters even more when a technician has a longer drive to reach you. HVAC maintenance keeps your Sunny Hills system running efficiently and catches small problems early, before they turn into a bigger repair.
What Sunny Hills Homeowners Should Know
Rural HVAC Service Has Different Needs
Sunny Hills and the surrounding Washington County communities aren’t a dense neighborhood grid, they’re larger lots, longer driveways, and more distance between homes. Rural HVAC service often means bigger properties to condition and outbuildings that need their own comfort solutions like mini splits, and we size systems with that reality in mind.
Manufactured Homes Are Common Here
Many Sunny Hills, Ebro, and Greenhead properties are manufactured or mobile homes, which typically use packaged AC units mounted outside rather than a separate indoor and outdoor system. These units have their own service needs, and we work on them with the same care as any site-built system, giving you an honest diagnosis instead of guessing.
Humidity Still Matters Inland
Even away from the coast, Panhandle humidity affects comfort and air quality. Per the U.S. EPA, keeping indoor relative humidity between 30 and 50 percent helps control mold and moisture problems. In a Sunny Hills summer, managing that often takes more than the AC alone.
Your AC Works Most of the Year
Sunny Hills’ long, hot cooling season means your AC runs hard for much of the year, whether it’s a packaged unit on a manufactured home or a full central system on a larger property. Regular maintenance and correct sizing keep it holding up when you need it most, which is far cheaper than an emergency repair mid-summer.
Sunny Hills Areas We Serve
Around the Sunny Hills Golf Course, we serve the homes in this established community with straight answers and fair pricing, whether it’s a quick repair or a full system replacement job.
In Ebro, we service homes and rural properties with the same fast, honest service, working on all makes and models across the area, without treating the distance as an excuse.
Around Greenhead, we handle homes on larger lots and rural properties, sizing systems correctly for the space and servicing the outbuildings that often come with country living here, from workshops to guest spaces.
Across the Sand Hills and Sand Lake areas, we serve established rural homes and newer properties alike, with the same commitment to showing up that defines our service out this way, no matter the distance from town.
In the neighborhoods near Pine Log State Forest, we service homes on wooded, larger lots, sizing systems correctly for the setting and servicing whatever outbuildings come with the property, treating rural work the same as any other job.
Along the Highway 77 and Highway 79 corridors through Washington County, we serve homes and rural properties on these main routes, a stretch we travel regularly coming up from Panama City, so we know it well.

First and foremost, a big shoutout with many thanks to Lee Quick and the crew of Panside Heating and Air, LLC. I believe reviews are intended to represent the client’s perception of all interactions of companies and from point of sale, sealing the deal to installation closures were spot on, quick & efficient. I have had to do the same myself having had a small business in a small town for over 30 years. I want to compliment the referral from another friend, Ron Newsome. Thanks again, sir. To anyone looking to receive the comfort of a/c or heat services, I would highly recommend this crew of professionals and welcome them into my home, or office any day.
