About Panside Heating and Air

It Started With a Hurricane and a Ruined Ductwork System

Lee Quick got his start in HVAC the hard way. A hurricane tore up his own home, he couldn’t afford to pay someone to redo the ductwork, so he did it himself. It turned out he was good at it. That’s the whole idea behind Panside Heating and Air: a local Panhandle tradesman who does honest work, tells you the truth, and treats your home like his own.

How Panside Got Started

After a hurricane tore through his home, Lee Quick had a problem a lot of Panhandle families know well: the ductwork was ruined, and paying someone to redo it wasn’t in the budget. So he did it himself. Somewhere in the middle of that job, he figured out he had a real knack for the work. Panside Heating and Air grew out of that.

Lee wasn’t new to hard work. He’d spent about 25 years across the trades before HVAC, building houses, building high-rises, wiring electrical, running remodels, and doing plumbing. HVAC ended up pulling all of it together. In his words, it’s “the culmination of every trade I’ve ever done in one shell.” That background is why he handles the complicated jobs other companies pass on, like rebuilding a rotted platform or modifying a wall to fit a new unit.

Eight years into HVAC, Lee is still hands-on for about 90 percent of his calls, doing the installs and the service work himself. When a customer calls Panside, they reach the actual technician, not a call center. Born and raised in the Panhandle, Lee is a family man with a wife and their two kids, and he built Panside to serve this community the honest way.

Heating and Cooling, Handled Right the First Time

Panside Heating and Air is your trusted source for heating and cooling in Bay County and the Panhandle, specializing in systems under 25 tons. With air conditioning making up 27% of home energy use in our humid climate, ensuring efficiency is essential.

Our Name Is On the Work

Lee puts it simply: “My name’s on it. It’s going to be right, or it’s not going to be done.” That standard runs through every job. We take the extra time to go over the whole system, so that when we leave, the problem is fixed right the first time.

We will not tell you something is broken when it isn’t, and we won’t sell you what you don’t need. If your system can be repaired, we will tell you. If it truly needs to be replaced, we walk you through your options without pushing. That’s how you earn a customer for life instead of a quick ticket. A good experience today can turn into years of calls, referrals, and trust.

Why Homeowners and Businesses Choose Panside

You talk to the technician

When you call Panside, you reach the person who shows up and does the work, not a call center or a sales rep. Lee is hands-on for the vast majority of calls, so the person diagnosing your system is the person fixing it.

25 years across the trades

About 25 years in the trades and 8 years in HVAC means Lee handles the complex, every-job-is-different work others can't, like rebuilding a rotted platform or reworking ductwork to fit a new unit. He works on all brands, all makes, and all models.

Honest options, no upsell

We tell you what's wrong, what's not wrong, and what your real options are. No fear tactics, no pushing a replacement when a repair is the honest answer. Ask us for a second opinion any time.
